Feeling the Love

Valentine’s Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate love in its many forms: romantic love, platonic love (we see you, Galentine’s Day celebrators), self-love and many more.

But there’s one form of love that gets the short end of the stick on Valentine’s Day and that’s…love of what you do for work! Ok—it might not be the stuff that drives people wild with desire, or inspires poetry, film and music, but it IS what most of us spend a huge chunk of our day doing, and when it’s good, it’s SO GOOD.

For most business-owners, bookkeeping is something that they begrudgingly do, whether it’s for tax reasons, banking reasons, or just because of a vague notion that they’re supposed to do it. But we LOVE what we do, and our clients feel the love, too.

What we love :

  • Bringing Clarity out of Chaos - There are many reasons why your books could be, well, a disaster. Maybe you have a gazillion accounts, a backlog of transactions that haven’t been accounted for, too many hands in the bookkeeping, multiple aspects of the business (or people!) that aren’t talking to each other. Whatever the reason is, our goal is to get your books to a point where they are clear and accurate. Every client is unique, so figuring out how to get from point A to point B is a fun challenge.

  • Keeping Things Simple – Finding ways to streamline and automate processes is another passion. Many people confuse simplicity with doing things manually, but there’s nothing simple about spending time doing repetitive work that could easily, and accurately, be automated. Of course, every client is different, and taking the time to understand what the client’s goals are is key.

  • Working Behind the Scenes – Working in the background of your business gives us the ability to get up close without getting in the way. You’re able to do what you do best knowing that behind the scenes there is a team of professionals working to keep your books accurate.

  • The Big Reveal – Showing a client their financials for the first time is the most rewarding, amazing part of the job. Financials that, for the first time, make sense to them and that we help them understand.

Accurate, clear accounting is the most powerful tool that any business owner can have at their disposal. Financial reports aren’t just for banks, or for tax agencies, or for marking off a box on your ‘adulting’ check list. They’re for YOU, and for YOUR business.

It’s time to give your bookkeeping some love.
